Photos on CanadaCasinos come from Wikimedia Commons and are used under the licences listed below. Images were cropped and resized for the page layout; no other changes were made. Casino and game screenshots belong to their operators and providers. If you are the author of a photo and spot a mistake in its credit, contact us through our About page.
What the licences allow
Every photo on this site is published by its author under a free licence or released into the public domain, and each licence sets its own conditions. Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) lets anyone reuse and adapt a work, including commercially, as long as the author is credited, the licence is named and linked, and changes are indicated. Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA) adds one more condition: an adapted version has to be shared under the same licence. CC0 and public domain works can be used without any of these conditions, but we credit their authors anyway, because it tells readers where an image comes from.
The table lists each photo with the page or section where it appears, the original file on Wikimedia Commons, the author as named on the file page, and the licence with a link to its full text. The file page on Commons is the authoritative record: it shows the original resolution, the date the photo was taken where the author recorded it, and any later corrections to the attribution.
How we choose images
We use photos to show what a page is about — a roulette wheel on a roulette guide, a payment terminal on a banking guide — and not to suggest anything the text does not say. A photo of a casino floor does not mean that casino is reviewed or recommended here, and photos of cards, chips or slot machines are not screenshots of any particular online casino. Every image is chosen for this site alone, so the same photo does not appear on other websites through us.
If you want to reuse one of these photos, take it from its original file page rather than from this site: our copies are cropped for the layout, and the licence obligations run to the original author, not to us.
