What We Do

Updated By CanadaCasinos editorial team19+ · how we rate

CanadaCasinos reviews online casinos for Canadian players and answers to no operator. We compare casino sites, bonuses, payment methods and games, explain how they work, and point out the terms that matter before you deposit. The site is written for adults who already gamble or are deciding whether to, and we want every page to be useful whether or not you end up playing.

What we do

Each review starts from what a casino publishes about itself: its licence details, terms and conditions, bonus rules, banking page and game lobby. We check the licence against the regulator’s public information where the regulator offers one, read the wagering and withdrawal rules in full, and summarise them in plain language. Where a rule works against the player, such as a high wagering multiple, a short time limit or a weekly withdrawal cap, we say so on the page.

Our guides cover the questions Canadian players ask most often: which payment methods work for deposits and withdrawals, how welcome bonuses are structured, what different games pay back over time, and how gambling is regulated across the provinces. The blog adds longer explainers on topics that come up again and again in player questions.

What we do not claim

We do not promise that any casino is free of problems, and we do not guarantee winnings: every casino game has a house edge, and the result of any session is uncertain. Terms change without notice, so a review shows what the casino published when the page was last updated. Always confirm the current offer, wagering and limits on the casino’s own site before you deposit.

How we make money

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you open an account through them, we may receive a commission from the casino at no extra cost to you. Commissions do not decide what we write about a casino, and the weaknesses of a site stay on its page. Our scoring criteria are set out on the How We Rate Casinos page.

Play responsibly

Online gambling is for adults only: the minimum age is 19 in most provinces and 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. Set a budget before you play, never chase losses, and take a break when it stops being fun. If gambling is causing problems for you or someone close to you, free and confidential help is available; in Ontario, ConnexOntario answers on 1-866-531-2600. How regulation differs by province is covered in our guide to provincial online casinos.
